Movie: Laughing Gor 之變節




The prequel to the popular character, Laughing Gor (Michael Tse) in the highly rated TVB drama series Emergency Unit. This movie tells the story of Laughing and before he join the police force has a dark background as member of a tried under Chou (Anthony Wong). Chou was the leader of the triad and persuaded Laughing to join the police force as an undercover for the triad to spy on police activities. While in the police academy, Laughing excel but not well enough to be confirm as a police officer. Instead he was recruited to be an undercover agent to spy on some illegal activities. Laughing now maintains the life as a double undercover agent, with crucial information from two sides. But an incident disturbs the balance of the two identities and threatens to blow his cover. With both the triad and police force suspicious of his loyalty, Laughing does not know who he can trust to save him.

Auntie Lucy is a proud and lively `auntie' with a passion for helping people. She also loves collecting free gifts and being in the limelight. She and her two best friends are very active in their community, especially Auntie Lucy who will speak up against any inconsiderate act she sees. When one of their friends is diagnosed with cancer and needs $100,000 for her operation, Auntie Lucy and her friends decide to do whatever it takes to help her. When their MP suggests they play a friendly match against the national youth team to raise funds, the aunties immediately took on the challenge!

Movie: Accident




A self-styled "accident choreographer," the Brain is a professional hitman who kills his victims by trapping them in well crafted "accidents" that look like unfortunate mishaps but are in fact perfectly staged acts of crime. After one mission accidentally goes wrong, causing the life of one of his men, the Brain is convinced that this accident has been choreographed: someone is out there plotting to terminate him and his team. He becomes increasingly paranoid, walking on the thin line between reality and delusion. When he is accosted by a mysterious insurance agent Fong who happened to be on the scene of the "accident" as well, the Brain becomes obsessed that this man must be the mastermind behind a conspiracy to take him out. To regain his sanity and to safe his life, he must strive to kill Fong before he makes his next move.

Movie: Overheard


A major stock exchange in the world, Hong Kong attracts not only money but anyone who tries to manipulate the market. At the Hong Kong Police Force Commercial Crime Bureau, an operation is underway to infiltrate a trading company where a man nicknamed Boss is the chief suspect. The team, led by Inspector Leung (Lau Ching Wan) together with Yeung (Louis Koo) and Lam (Daniel Wu) installs bugs to monitor the communications. When crucial information on a surging share is intercepted, a moment of greed now puts them in a crossfire between the Bureau and the boss.

Movie: Ice Age 3

As a last resort, under the guidance of General W.R. Monger (Kiefer Sutherland), the motley crew of Monsters is called into action to combat the aliens and save the world from imminent destruction!

A group of teenagers end up in a vacation house in Maine, and realise that they must defend against the threat of aliens making their way from the upper floor to the ground floor.

Movie: Bruno


Brüno is a gay Austrian fashion guru. He has his own fashion based television show, Funkyzeit, the most popular German-language show of its kind outside of Germany. After he disgraces himself in front of his Funkyzeit fan base, he is ruined in German speaking Europe. He decides that in his quest for worldwide fame, he will move to Los Angeles and reinvent himself.

Movie: District 9


Set in South Africa, this movie is rumoured to be a "Cloverfield"-type sci-fi about an extraterrestrial race that is forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth and suddenly finds a friend in a government agent who is exposed to their biotechnology. Alien spacecrafts are seen hovering over many locations, interrupting daily human lives and raising concerns from the residents of the area. This film is also said to be a sort of social commentary, diverging from what you would usually expect from films featuring aliens.

Movie: Fighting


Shawn MacArthur is a young man who scrapes up a living through hustling counterfeit merchandise in New York City. With a family tragedy in his past and his father keeping him at a distance, this outsider has little to motivate him. A chance encounter with veteran street-fighting coach Harvey Boarden leads to a whole new career for Shawn. He will fight to win, not only for the prize money but also the unexpected new relationships that are strengthening him.

Walter (Ashton Kutcher), a wrestler, competes for a spot on the national team when he learns of his sister's brutal death. He comes home to help his mother; he works out, takes a dead-end job, and goes to the trial of the accused murderer. He becomes friends with Linda (Michelle Pfeiffer) where her husband is murdered and is left alone to raise a teen son, Clay (Spencer Hudson), who's deaf. Walter and Linda spend so much time together that they inevitably become intimate.

Based on a true story of musical prodigy Nathaniel Ayers (Jamie Foxx), he developed schizophrenia in his second year at Julliard and ended up homeless on the streets of downtown L.A. where he plays the violin and cello. This drama is based on the relationship the musician developed with Steve Lopez (Robert Downey Jr), a Los Angeles Times reporter whose column inspired the script.

Movie: The Haunting In Connecticut


Based on a true story, "The Haunting In Connecticut" charts one family's real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. When the Campbell family moves to upstate Connecticut, they soon learn that their charming Victorian home has a disturbing history: not only was the house a transformed funeral parlor where inconceivable acts occurred, but the owner's clairvoyant son Jonah served as a demonic messenger, providing a gateway for spiritual entities to crossover. Movie: 252 Signal Of Life


A few weeks after a gigantic earthquake strikes Tokyo, the temperature of the Pacific Ocean suddenly increases and causes the largest typhoon ever seen in Japan to head towards Tokyo with devastating force. The tidal wave generated by the typhoon covers the coastal city area with water. The Tokyo Fire Department dispatches its elite rescue unit and their sonar picks up a signal from underwater. Beneath the ground, in one subway station, there is someone sending out a code which is known to rescuers only: 252 252 "We have survivors!" A rescue party tries to save the survivors at the risk of their own lives. In the face of death, a daring rescue operation is to be carried out.
