Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007

The world’s best rated soccer video game franchise, Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 expands upon the series’ unmatched realism with faster gameplay, more responsive control and improved artificial intelligence. Players will now make intelligent runs without the ball, identifying opportunities and pointing to where they would like the ball to be delivered. Similarly, the game is now more physical, with defenders jockeying for position and strikers working to turn their opponent as they receive the ball. The game’s shooting system has also been refined, letting players take more snap shots, while volleys have been updated for more player control. Players will also be able to enjoy the Beautiful Game in more ways than ever before with new play modes. International Challenge mode lets players compete through four continents of opposition to become a champion, while Random Selection Match lets gamers take the field with a group of players selected at random from a predetermined league or geographic area. The popular Master League mode returns with more options, allowing players to take complete control of their favorite team and control its destiny for an extended period of time.
Building upon the series’ legacy of incredibly realistic gameplay, Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 debuts several new additions that make it even more faithful to the “beautiful game.” Player AI has been upgraded, with players running intelligently into space when not in possession of the ball. The physical side of play has been refined, with players working to turn defenders as they receive the ball, and defenders learning to back off slightly to prevent such moves. The shooting system has also been refined, as players will be able to attempt more snap shots than in previous versions, while volleys and half-volleys have been reworked. Other new moves include the ability to retain control of the ball when performing a sliding tackle, while all-new feints and backwards dribbling are now available, thanks to the improved movement controls. Online play has been drastically improved on the PlayStation 2 and PC versions of the game, with up to eight players being able to compete simultaneously.
Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 will feature several licenses new to the series, including the French League as well as Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon and Benfica. The game will also include fully licensed uniforms for the Czech, French, Australian, English, Italian, Argentinian, Spanish and Swedish national teams.
