TVB Drama: The Stew Of Life (有營煮婦)



Upon returning from a trip with her husband NG MAN TAK (Chung King Fai), cookery teacher LO SIU LAI (Lee Sze Kei, Louise) is shocked to find that her little daughter NG CHOI NI (Chen Fala) has started cohabiting with a homosexually inclined colleague LAU TAT YAN (Hung Tin Ming) while her divorced sister LO SIU MEI (Ng Wing Mei) is seemingly caught up in a love triangle between tenant YAU KAI (Mak Cheung Ching) and her ex-husband.

By and by TAK is forced to retire early and stays at home all day with nothing to do. LAI, on the other hand, is lucky enough to have the opportunity to host a culinary show on TV. Everything seems to have happened too fast but this does not leave LAI frustrated and accursed. Instead she tries to get round every problem with even more patience and dedication, which however is not appreciated by TAK. The bickering continues until LAI eventually thinks of a good way to tackle TAK.

TVB Drama: In The Chamber of Bliss




Military Governor Choi Ngok (Damian Lau) has been attempting to overthrow the Yuen Sai Hoi government. To facilitate his plan to stage an uprising in Yunnan, he pretends to be fooling around with the highly sought-after courtesan Cheung Feng Wan (Chow Hoi Mei), nicknamed Siu Fung Sin, to avoid detection. Yuen Sai Hoi (Law Lok Lam), who is suspicious of Ngok, sends the Chief of Staff Mok Yik Tin (Lam Ka Wah) to spy on him.
Later he even lures Ngok's wife Pak Sz Ting (Tin Yui Nei) to Beijing, hoping that this will force Ngok to pledge his loyalty to the government. To ensure the success of the revolutionary movement, Ngok carries on with his affair with Wan as a camouflage, without realizing that she has seriously fallen in love with him. Wan is ready to give up everything just to be with Ngok while he remains cold and distant towards her. Soldier Yue Yam Kwok (Ma Kwok Ming) is also in love with Wan and would like to get her out of her predicament. Sadly Wan turns him down, for her love for Ngok is so much stronger than one can ever imagine.

Sau-ying's older brother, Wong Lo-fu (Tiger Wong), sees Man-ban's beauty and kidnaps him home.

TVB: E.U. (學警狙擊) Starring Laughing Kor

After ten years behind the bars in Taiwan, Kong Sai-Hao (Michael Miu) finally returns to Hong Kong. Other than the hope to find his daughter Yau-Yau (Elanne Kong) to mend their relationship, he also plans for revenge. On one hand, he pretends to surrender to triad boss To Yik-Tin (Lam Lee), the man who caused him to be jailed. On the other hand, he tries to gain trust from police officers Chung Lap-Man (Ron Ng) and Lee Pak-Kiu (Sammul Chan). Lee refuses to have a criminal as his friend, but Chung becomes close to Kong to gain inside information about To's activities.

To keeps a close watch on Kong but purposely shows that he trusts Laughing (Michael Tse) more and intentionally puts him in a high position, but Kong uses To's wife Ching Yeuk-Sam (Kathy Chow) in the organization as an influence to help Kong rise up the ranks. To is killed and Kong ascends to become the head of the triad. Later, Chung becomes an official undercover agent for the police force with the intention of exposing Kong's triad crimes. He isolates himself from Lee in order to protect his undercover identity.
Just when Kong thought that he was in control, his drug business fails. Kong discovers that the people he trusted the most had betrayed, tricked and used him.

TVB Drama: The Threshold Of A Persona (ID精英)

FONG TSUN KIT (Kwok Chun On) becomes friends with two other candidates CHENG PAK YUE (Cho Wing Lim) and YIP ON KEI (Mung Ka Wai, Yoyo) while applying for a post in the Immigration Department. YU is an aggressive person. He later moves to the Police Force and is promoted to Senior Inspector of Regional Crime Unit. While investigating a murder case, he realizes that the new gang leader WU KIT SUM (Wong Tak Bun) has killed somebody because of KIT's wife. It totally turns KIT's life upside down.

As a good friend, KEI helps KIT take care of his son after a failed relationship with YU. When two hearts meet, an extraordinary link spontaneously draws them together. Meanwhile, AU SHUN FUNG (Patrick Tang) appreciates KIT's ability very much and recommends him to MAK KAI MING (John Chiang), Head of Investigation Section. KIT gains approval and he is determined to start anew. While carrying out an investigation on a fraud syndicate, he comes upon his missing wife and uncovers her long-hidden identity.

TVB Drama: A Great Way To Care (仁心解碼)

KO LAP YAN (Fong Chung Sun), Senior Psychiatrist of Yan Wo Hospital, is a competent and kind-hearted doctor who specializes in severe schizophrenia and even minor mental illness. YAN cures his patients by not only medication but also by psychological analysis. He diagnoses the cause with reference to the symptoms.

The plot is interesting, intricate and extraordinary. The Psychiatrist LIN CHI SUM (Cheung Chi Kwong) and the nurse LI YING CHUN (Wong Ho Yin) are both good friends of YAN. CHUN is keen on helping people. He has cured a patient suffering from binge eating disorder SUEN KA PIK (Vivien Yeo). They have overcome a lot of difficulties and become a couple. YAN is a divorced single father with a daughter. After the failed marriage, he did not long for love affairs until he chanced upon an Inspector of Serious Crime Unit MOK MAN YEE (Tsui Tsz Shan, Kate). They have gradually developed their relationship through business contact. However, in order to avoid recurrence of genetic mental disease, YEE detaches her feeling from YAN.

TVB Drama: Just Love 2 (老婆大人II)

Career-minded magistrate KO HEI MAN (Jessica Hsuan) gains full support from her loyal husband KOT KWOK KWONG (Sunny Chan) so that she is able to concentrate fully on her works. At court, MAN strongly believes that everyone is equal before the law and she tackles every challenge confidently. At home, she never bothers about the household duties which are all taken by husband and any complaints filed by mother-in-law. MAN just takes things for granted but fate continuously to convince her that law cannot be applied to every situation.

MAN feels sympathized with HO SAU SAU (Joyce Tang) who suffers from slight mental disorders. Trying to help, MAN allows her to come into her family but this creates an opportunity for SAU to replace MAN's role as a wife and a mother completely. KWONG is seriously injured during a car accident. His relative KOT TAK WAN (Johnson Lee) lectures KWONG how to fight against MAN and this leads to serious communication breakdown between the couple. Swindler HO SHI FU (Benz Hui) appears in MAN's life as a hopeless villain from the lower class but he is in fact the father of a senior official.

"Just Love II" is a story about law and human nature. How would the couple tide over the difficulties?

TVB Drama: Rosy Business (巾幗梟雄)

During the mid 1820s, a natural disaster hit the city of Wuxi. Running out of food supply for the citizens, governor Hong Chi-Wing (Wong Wai Leung) used the city's military food supply to feed the citizens. A few days after the disaster, an official from Beijing arrived to the city to check the military supply. Seeing an empty trailer, the Hong family were sentenced to death. Hong Po-Yin (Sheren Tang) escaped from punishment and became a maid in the Prince's mansion with the name Hong Po-Kei.

Twenty years later, Po-Kei meets the rich rice merchant Chiang Kiu (Elliot Ngok), whom she was betrothed to before the disaster, at his manor while the Prince was there for a visit. Chiang Kiu's wife, Yan Fung-Yee (Susan Tse) recognizes her and reveals her identity to the Prince. Chiang Kiu manages to convince the Prince to free her, and marries Po-Kei as his fourth wife. Chiang Kiu appreciates Po-Kei's wisdom and persistence, and decides to entrust his business to her, telling her to find a suitable successor for him before he dies.

Hungry for power and eager to keep tradition, Fung-Yee finds every opportunity for her son, the eldest child Chiang Bit-Man (Pierre Ngo) to be the only heir of the family business. She tries to strip Po-Kei from power even when Chiang Kiu's final will reads that Po-Kei should be the full owner of the business.

Despite attacks from the family, Po-Kei manages to keep the business in good shape. She is impressed with second son Chiang Bit-Ching (Ron Ng) and guides him to become the successor, but her efforts are met with Chai Kau's (Wayne Lai) challenges. Chai Kau seeks vengeance for being mistreated and wants a pay back from Bit-Man and the Chiang's family uncle, Pang Hang (Lei Seng Cheung). After rounds of battle wits and fights, Po-Kei and Chai Kau develop a deep friendship.

Chai Kau went on and pledged his loyalty to Po-kei. With their excellent cooperation and quick thinking, the business managed to survive through the locusts disasters and the Taiping Rebellion. Meanwhile third wife, Lau Fong (Kara Hui) and Po-kei became good friends and sisters, to the point that Lau Fong even sacrificed her life to protect Po-kei.

TVB Drama: Man In Charge (幕後大老爺)

Master Tai Yau Kung is skilled in training official advisor for government. He helps his foster son Chow Bing obtain a job in officialdom. Bing is a resourceful young man but he holds fast to his own beliefs. He finds all the rules and practices of the officials intolerable so he stays idle all the time. Sometimes he goes tavern to have fun and he falls into the adorable owner Chong Siu Han.

His wife Chiu Yuk Hing becomes green-eyed monster and never stays in settlement with him. Yau Kung recommends Bing to work as an advisor to the new government official Shum Gwun Bok. Bing and Gwun Bok become good friends as time goes by. One day, Bing accidentally discovers that his respectful master Yau Kung is actually the father of Gwun Bok. In order to protect himself, Gwun Bok starts making use of Yuk Hing to eliminate Bing. Bing is shocked to realize that his wife is in fact a spy dispatched by Imperial.

TVB Drama: King Of Snooker (桌球天王)

The all-conquering snooker player Yau Yat Kiu (Adam Cheng) takes everyone by surprise when he suddenly retires from the snooker world. This comes as a huge disappointed to his daughter Yau Ka Kan (Niki Chow), who has always wanted to follow in his footsteps. Se feels bewildered too, for although Kiu pretends he does not care about the snooker any more, he has set up an extremely difficult game in his restaurant. His purpose cannot be more obvious: he is waiting for someone to solve the game. Kiu comes to know Kan Tze Him (Patrick Tang) by chance.

Noticing his flair for the snooker, Kiu decides to make an exception for Him and teaches him all he knows about the game. Later, Kan manages to persuade her father into taking her in as well.


Him fancies Kan, but she is fond of Lui Kin Chung (Derek Kok), Kiu's bitter foe, later friend, for a short while. Chung's manager is a crafty person. In order to win the game, he placed sleeping pills in Kiu's in-game water. After the game, Chung falls out with his manager because of it. Chin To To (Joyce Tang), later falls in love with Kiu. Him falls out with Kiu because of Chung's ex-manager. Both master and disciple come to settle their scores on a snooker-table in the end.

Bookshop staff FONG HOK MAN (Chun Pui) always believes that "knowledge is power". He tries hard to encourage his older son FONG SUM MING (Lai Yiu Cheung) and his younger son FONG SUM CHING (Suen Eric) to study more. Unfortunately, MING is not good at studying at all and he quits after secondary school.

On the other hand, CHING is a very smart boy and MING works hard overseas to support CHING's further studies on computer sciences in America. LAI’s teaching style is totally different from CHAU and they fight with each other all the time.The academic performance of the team varies a lot but CHAU discovers that WAI’s son FAN PUI TUNG (Law Chung Him) has plenty of potential so he pays special attention to him.

During the time, CHU’s younger brother suddenly takes away the ownership of the soccer team. CHU tries to take revenge by asking LAI to make the soccer team into a mess.
